This highest grade of matcha was carefully selected directly from farms in Uji, Japan. Tea has been cultivated and enjoyed in this region of Kyoto for over 500 years.
Flavor: A vibrant green tea that is lusciously smooth, creamy and refreshing.
Brewing Instructions: Spoon 1 teaspoon of matcha powder into a chawan tea bowl or cup. Add 3 ounces of hot water and whisk with bamboo chasen or a frother until achieving a smooth rich foam. Sip reverently.
